Willis College Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

November 5, 2014 – Willis College is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Wood as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Ken joined Willis College first as a Business Instructor and then as the Director of Business Development.

As COO, Ken’s primary responsibilities will be to develop and implement the strategic vision of Willis College and to expand our unique skills training services locally, nationally and internationally.

“Ken’s expertise will allow us to review new opportunities and help us achieve our goal to double in size over the next 3 years,” said Rima Aristocrat, Willis College’s President and CEO.

Ken has over twenty years of experience in retail and investment banking with several of Canada’s largest banks. His experience has helped businesses and charitable organizations to streamline their processes and realize corporate objectives.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University and is completing his MBA at the University of Fredericton.

He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), has completed level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst program and is a current member of the CFA Society of Ottawa.
