Providing Education and Training for the Canadian Armed Forces

Willis College has a long history of working with the Canadian Armed Forces and providing dedicated education and training to Canadian Armed Forces members. Working closely with Veterans Affairs Canada, we offer programs such as Cybersecurity Analyst or Operator,  and Business Administration programs, to name a few.

From our Military and Veterans Partnership Team to our Canadian Armed Forces Scholarship programs, we recognize and respect our students that are active members of the Canadian Armed Forces or are working with Willis College to transition to the next stage of their lives.

The Wills College CyberSecurity program has long been held as the gold-standard program in Ottawa for training CyberSecurity professionals. However, we can now hold another important feather in our cap: providing Cybersecurity Training for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Department of National Defence (DND).

On September 7, 2021, 11 Canadian Forces School of Communications and Electronics (CFSCE) graduates became the first group of Cyber Operators that are fully trained as members of the Cyber Operator occupation. Willis College was honoured to provide that training to these talented individuals.

DND / CAF students underwent 60 weeks of training at Willis College’s celebrated Ottawa Campus and twelve weeks at CFSCE. Newly graduated, all 11 are expected to be posted to the Canadian Forces Network Operation Centre, where they will begin working as Cyber Defence Analysts. You can find more information on this initiative on our school news blog.

What Our Graduates Are Saying

Online schooling was helpful in working around my schedule. It allowed me to gain the education I needed from the comfort of my own home. Despite online classes, you receive a quick response when help is needed.
