Lest We Forget.

November 11, 2020
George and Joan

This Remembrance Day we remember our fallen soldiers and honour all of the brave men and women who have fought for our freedom.

This includes George L. Sparks (1936 Willis graduate) for whom our Willis Ottawa Campus Veteran Friendly Learning Centre is named, and Joan Bray for whom the Willis Arnprior Campus Veteran Friendly Learning Centre is named. We are forever honoured to have them as part of our Willis family.

In Flanders Fields
by John McCrae

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

What Our Graduates Are Saying

Willis College is so flexible for students! My program allowed me to complete all my courses online. I got to choose when I wanted to attend my live lectures which was incredibly helpful around my daily life. This program made it possible for me to pursue a career as a single mom!
