Empowering The Future Women Leaders Of Technology

December 19, 2019

We at MindBridge thank Sophia Leong, Rima Aristocrat, Doug Wotherspoon, and John Apsimon for helping make the HERoes initiative a reality!

From idea to the classroom, the HERoes initiative announced in May at IMPACT AI 2019, is launching this week! In partnership with the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, and Willis College, MindBridge Ai is proud to be a part of this exciting initiative to increase women’s participation in STEAM.

With a focus on leadership, growth, and self-care, HERoes aims to increase women participating in technology roles and advance more effective women leaders in the industry. The kick-off of the first class of women students is on Friday, bringing together future leaders from participating institutions for a day of learning leadership skills and technology literacy.

Thank you to the participating institutions and leadership mentors for making this happen, and special thanks to Sophia for her continued leadership and support on this exciting program.

Good luck to our student future leaders!

What Our Graduates Are Saying

Willis College is so flexible for students! My program allowed me to complete all my courses online. I got to choose when I wanted to attend my live lectures which was incredibly helpful around my daily life. This program made it possible for me to pursue a career as a single mom!
