Purpose
This policy aims to:
- Promote a culture of inclusion that embraces diversity in all its forms.
- Ensure equitable access to education and employment opportunities for all.
- Foster an environment free from discrimination, harassment, and systemic barriers.
- Provide clear guidelines for implementing and upholding diversity and inclusion practices across the institution.
Scope
This policy applies to all members of the Willis College community, including students, faculty, staff, contractors, and visitors, and governs all activities, programs, and services provided by the college.

At Willis College we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment where every member of our community feels valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential. We recognize that diversity enriches the learning experience, drives innovation, and strengthens our community. Our commitment to inclusion is rooted in the principles of equity, respect, and dignity for all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, socioeconomic status, or any other characteristic. This commitment includes the use of inclusive language in our interactions, materials, and policies, ensuring that all members of our community feel acknowledged and represented.

Implementation and Oversight
The Diversity and Inclusion Committee, is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of this policy. Annual reports will be provided to the college’s leadership, outlining progress, challenges, and future priorities.
Reporting and Feedback
Members of the Willis College community are encouraged to report concerns related to diversity and inclusion through designated channels. Feedback on this policy is welcome and will be considered during regular reviews to ensure its relevance and effectiveness.
Review Cycle
This policy will be reviewed every three years or as needed to reflect emerging practices and changing community needs.
