Thinking about learning online? You’re not going to want to miss this!

If you’re thinking about going back to school you know it’s a big decision. Even once you’ve made the commitment to go you have a lot of options: programs, schools, and now online versus in the classroom.

We know that there are a lot of preconceived ideas about going to school online, and questions that come along with them. Will you get the same quality of education? Will you have the motivation to finish? Will you have the same supportive faculty and students behind you that you would have in a traditional classroom setting? Don’t worry, we’re here to help!

Starting today, October 4, and continuing all week (October 6 and 8) we’re hosting a series of webinars to  answer these questions and debunk the myths you may have around online education. Bonnie Gardner, the Campus Director for Willis College Online will be your host and she’ll come armed with a bunch of knowledge that will help you to see what Willis College Online is all about.

So what will we be talking about?

We’re not trying to give away everything that you’ll learn at the webinar but we’d like to give you a little taste:

What about the question around productivity? Will you get everything completed on time or will you procrastinate until it’s too late? At Willis College we can assure you that you’re going to kill it! We don’t just give you the text books and disappear. You’re never on your own.

Our online programs are not self-paced, they are instructor paced and instructor led. This means we will keep you on track every week to finish the program in less than one year! Plus, your instructor or facilitator will ALWAYS be there to answer your questions and give feedback. We’re here to help you succeed.

AND that’s just one of the myths we’ll be debunking. Trust us, we have knowledge that you need!

And don’t worry. For every challenge there are some benefits to learning online too! Not only can you do it all in your sweatpants in the comfort of your own home (a MAJOR benefit), learning online will help you to master new technology, become comfortable working independently, and show that you have fantastic time-management skills.
